What can I expect before my session?
Foothills Photography is a full service photographer - this means I am here to help you with everything from wardrobe selection to printing your favorite images. Before your session I am available for phone or in-person consultations, to answer any questions or concerns and to ensure that you feel relaxed, confident and comfortable when your session arrives! You will receive a link to pay your session deposit ($75) once your session day has been confirmed. On your end, make sure to plan out outfits a few weeks in advance to save yourself the stress of running around the night before (check here for inspiration www.pinterest.com/foothillsphotography). Don't forget about the details - haircuts, nails, accessories and shoes, etc! Allow your older kiddos to be involved in picking out their outfits! Letting them express themselves during the session will help them be more cooperative and enjoy the experience.
What happens the day of my session?
I'll be in contact a few days before to confirm location, time and to answer any last minute questions. I always suggest making the day of your session a fun, relaxed experience. Go out to breakfast, plan a treat for afterwards, grab appetizers and happy hour before your session! If your kiddos are joining you make sure you have discussed what you expect from them, explain why these are important and bring snacks! If you are stressed about your session then your family will pick up on that and no one will have an enjoyable experience. Your actual session time will be a mixture of posed and candid images. Don't be afraid to play with your kids, hold hands with your partner, gives tickles, hugs and kisses! All the moments allow me to capture your story in a memorable way. This time is meant to be fun, relaxing and a memory for you to look back on and smile!
Our session is over - now what?
My typical turnaround time is 2 weeks. You'll receive an email from me with online gallery viewing instructions. Once you have selected your Collection and images you will receive an invoice with your remaining balance. Once this is paid you will receive a link to download your purchased images. At this time you will also have the option to purchase prints and products from your online gallery.
